Hartford Roofing Company provides residential and small commercial roofing services in Hartford, Connecticut and surrounding Hartford County towns. Our services include roof replacement, roof repair, storm damage restoration, roof leak detection, emergency roof repair, flat roof repair, roof inspection, roof ventilation and ice dam repair, flashing and chimney repair, skylight leak repair, and gutter and drainage repair.

Estimates and Proposals

Written estimates are provided based on an on-site inspection and reflect scope of work as understood at the time. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted. Actual costs may vary if hidden conditions are discovered during work — any changes will be documented and approved before proceeding.

Licensing and Insurance

Hartford Roofing Company maintains Connecticut Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) registration, general liability insurance, and workers' compensation coverage. Proof available on request.

Warranties

Workmanship warranties on completed installations vary by scope and material selection. Details are provided in writing with each accepted proposal. Manufacturer material warranties are provided by the shingle or membrane manufacturer under their own terms.

Payment

Payment terms are established in the accepted written proposal. Standard practice includes a reasonable deposit at contract signing with the balance due at substantial completion, subject to project scope.

Cancellation

Under Connecticut law, homeowners have a three-day right of rescission on residential home improvement contracts. Cancellation terms are detailed in each written proposal.

Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the services in question. We are not liable for damages caused by pre-existing conditions unless we specifically undertook to repair them.

Insurance Claim Assistance

We provide documentation and coordination for homeowners insurance claims related to storm damage. We do not act as a public adjuster and cannot guarantee claim outcomes.
